The Museum of Selfies is an interactive museum that explores the history and cultural phenomenon of the selfie. Though a new trend, the selfie phenomenon has been dated back 40,000 years. Of course, there will be amazing photo ops and hidden facts and statistics about "selfie" including the best angle to take a selfie in. The pop up's price is $25 per person & children under three are free!

The Great L.A. River Cleanup

Volunteer to clean up the L.A. River! On April 14, 21 and 28, thousands of volunteers scour different parts of the L.A. River, collecting trash and helping to improve the environment. Take part in this 29th anniversary occasion that brings the community together to help the Earth.
Record Store Day 2018
Record Store Day returns on April 21 for another celebration of the legacy of brick-and-mortar record stores and the special role they play in their communities. Dozens of Los Angeles stores will participate. Record Store Day was conceived in 2007 at a gathering of independent record store owners and employees as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores internationally. Some participating L.A.-based shops include Amoeba Music, Fingerprints, MONO Records, Vacation Vinyl and High-Fidelity. Broke LA: Music and Arts Festival
Broke LA, the homegrown music & arts festival is returning to The Regent in DTLA for another 2-day event featuring over 50 performers, a local marketplace & more! Los Angeles Pancakes & Booze Art
Show comes to Union Nightclub for its premiere underground art show… served up with a stack of pancakes! Featuring over 150 local artists, live body painting, live art, an eclectic lineup of live musicians and DJs, and more, this art show is one to remember. Better come hungry, though! There will be a FREE pancake bar all night long. Hours for this 21+ event are 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Line jumper tickets are $15 online, or you can purchase $10 General Admission tickets at the door (cash only).
