Sephora hosted its 2nd annual beauty convention at the Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium with hundreds of bloggers, artists and influencers at attendance.
September 8th & 9th- The Shrine Auditorium was transformed to the dubbed "Coachella of Beauty" for Sephora's House of Beauty. The two-day convention brought together LA's glam squad to exchange new products and beauty tips. With over 50 interactive booths, guests were enchanted by the exhibit. Actor Jeff Goldblum, and make up artists/influencers Patrick Ta and Nikkie de Jager were just a few of the celebs spotted at the event. With the festival of beauty being so large-scale it would take almost a book to describe the extravaganza. So to keep it short and sweet here is a little sneak peak inside our experience at Sephoria.
Though the "House of Beauty" was covered with influencers and celebs, the stars of the event were the magnificent booths. Various beauty brands created booths as a way to attract the audience to their specific products. From Fenty's lipgloss carasoul Below is a slide show of our fave booths and photos from the event.
Gingerbread Spice Eye Shadow Palette Too Faced $49
Patrick Ta Major Glow Kit Sephora $22-$55
GUCCI Flora Emerald Gardenia Sephora $88
Fenty Gloss Bomb Sephora $18
Drunk Elephant Whipped Cream Lala Retro Sephora $60
The grand stage for this event included several masterclasses throughout the day featuring the world's top beauty experts. Due to the popularity of these classes, majority of the space was limited for guests. Lucky for us we were able to get a front row seat to three of the most popular classes of the weekend including: brow expert Kristie Streicher and Ta. Here are the top tips we got from these three beauty gurus.
"Nobody ever said not having enough brows was a bad thing," Streicher joked as she discussed her preference for fuller eyebrows.
"Don't rush! You have one chance to make an impression and if you're not ready don't take the client," Ta gives advice on how to be a successful make up artist.
